Of excellent SAT Prep and College Admissions Consultation
The Camp Kuza SAT Bootcamp is an academic track focused on preparing high school students to excel in the SAT and develop winning college applications. During this intensive three week program, seasoned SAT Tutors and Education Consultants from Stanford University, Yale University, and the University of Pennsylvania, will train students to reach their testing goals and secure their place in the best colleges possible.
TAILORED LESSON PLANNING
We understand that each of our students is unique and requires different attention and learning structure. As such, to better understand and guide each student, we offer an initial diagnostic test to analyze students’ strengths and areas of need and to draw up learning plans and strategies that will maximize the student’s outcome on the SAT exam. Our carefully trained tutors and peer teaching assistants bring together years of expertise, familiarity and insight into the classroom while fostering amicable student-centered learning environments.
TEST PREP AND TUTORING
During classes, we introduce students to the foundational skills necessary to succeed on the SAT, including test-taking strategies; how to manage time and test anxiety; and teach students how to understand the content and structure of the test. We guide students through practice exams where we help them build endurance and teach them how to employ these important test-taking skills in realistic exam settings. Our comprehensive educational philosophy coupled with weekly practice tests to assess student progress, small class sizes, actual College Board tests as practice tests, and tutors who scored in the 99th percentile on their own SAT tests will ensure students’ success. That has been the recipe for our results-oriented successes in the past decade. Additionally, students will be provided with the necessary study materials at no extra cost.
WRITING AND ADMISSIONS CONSULTING
Our College application sessions will teach students the storytelling skills necessary to produce compelling personal essays, and teach students how to present their co-curricular interests to appeal to admissions boards. Beginning with the initial essay ideas, to proofreading finished work, we will help students create essays that stand out and effectively communicate their strengths and what they will contribute to a college community.
